It is important to reach out to others and provide support and relief in times of grief or crisis, and even joys, celebrations and happiness! But, just like when trying to merge onto Interstate 25, you can bounce into the furthest lane and cause a problem for a lot of people, including yourself... or you can gain speed, gauge traffic, and gently merge into the flow of traffic. It's the same in interactions with others that are experiencing extreme emotions. If people are happy or sad, remember how influential your words are and how they can impact another's life. Sometimes we don't need it fixed. Sometimes there's no right thing to say. Sometimes, its best to merge into compassion, gauge the situation, and the simple presence of your care and concern will be enough. Sometimes, it really is just as simple as giving someone a much needed hug. Be that hug for someone this week... and if you need a hug, we have worship services Sundays @ 930am MST at 310 w 11th Street in Pueblo Colorado! See you soon!
