Winter Jam

Concert Sunday March 2, 2008 at the World Arena in Colorado Springs.

The concert begins at 6pm but we will leave around 2pm so that we can get a good spot in line. The cost is only $10 at the door. We will be taking the church bus and as many vans as we need.

Contact Suzanne Bratina at 543-4201 if you plan to attend. This year's concert includes: MercyMe, Skillet, New Song, Barlow Girl and others.

January happenings

Youth will meet each Sunday from 5 pm to 6:30 pm for praise worship, devotions, good food, games, projects, and fun. We will begin planning for the Summer Mystery Trip.

Please contact Suzanne Bratina at 543-4201 if you have a youth that will be attending Youth Quest this year on March 7, 8, and 9.

More December Happenings

December 23 - Youth Sunday

Sign up to serve at the 8:30 am or 11 am service. We will not meet in the evening - enjoy the time with your families.

December 28 - Lock-in

8 pm Friday to 9 am Saturday. Meet in Booth Hall for a variety of activities. Please bring sleeping bags, and items necessary for an overnight stay. We will have movies, games and activities. You are invited to bring food to share and your favorite activity. Breakfast will be provided in the morning.

December 30 - No meeting

December Happenings

Dec 2nd - 6 pm - 7:30 pm

We will meet in Booth Hall to put up and decorate the Christmas tree. We will also make Christmas cards that will be given to those people we see when we go caroling.
Attention Parents: Pastor Rick will meet with you in room 13 at 6pm to talk about the Youth Ministries in the new year and the 2008 Mission Trip.

Dec 9th 6 pm - 7:30 pm

We will have our annual youth Christmas party. Please bring an unwrapped toy that will be donated to the Holiday Blessing Store. Families in the community will be able to select gifts at this store. Our gift exchange will be "White Elephant" this year. This measn that you need to bring something from home that is nice and works but that you no longer use or want. Wrap the gift and we will plan the 'sneaky santa" game.

December 16th 2 pm - 5:30 pm

Christmas caroling. We will meet at the church at 1:45 to load the bus. We will go caroling until about 5pm, then meet back at the church for refresments.

Fall Festival October 28, 2007

Everyone is invited!
Come in your Halloween Costume
Fun, Food, and Fellowship!

All Children Welcome The Youth and the Education Department are
co-hosting this year's event in the Church Gym. Children are asked to bring a canned food item, which will be donated to the Cooperative Care Center as part of our Mission Outreach.

Games, Face Painting, Cake Walk, and much, much more!

They will accept donations of wrapped candy for game prizes and items for the cakewalk, ie. Cakes, cookies, pies, etc.

Chili Cook-Off - Oct 21, 2007

This Chili Cook Off is always a lot of fun for the Youth, those that have donated a pot of chili and especially for those that come to enjoy a great bowl (or two) of chili. We need pots of chili donated.
