Membership Care and Nurture

FOCUS: Membership Care and Nurture seeks compassionate people who feel called to serve the following groups:  Young adults:  20’s-late 40”s, seniors/older adults, those who have been bereaved within the year and  those who are homebound or in nursing homes

Thanks for the response to the request for prayer shawls and lap blankets. Our seniors appreciate the love and the prayers that go into them.

The focus for September will be back to school. The names of children, youth and college students will be available at the back of the church. You will be asked to pick up a card and pray for that student starting in September and throughout the year. Along with the back to school focus, we ask that you purchase crayons, pens, pencils and other school supplies that can fit in a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child. You can bring these to church anytime and they will be placed in boxes already wrapped by the office volunteers and other individuals.

Meeting Day & Time: As needed but at least once a quarter.

Training for current and new members will be on September 12th at 12 noon. We will meet in Booth Hall for the training.

Location of Meetings: Booth Hall, 9:45 a.m. during Praise Café time.
