Nursery:.

Our nursery is always staffed with at least two wonderful attendants that are CPR certified and have been cleared by the Colorado Bureau of Investigations. They all truly love to play and nurture the children, and are experienced with special needs kids. Our adults and have extensive experience in childcare and are over the age of 18. Our Junior Attendants are are at least 14 years old and are very trustworthy. Junior Attendants are ALWAYS staffed with one or more Senior Attendants

We are blessed with a beautiful new nursery facility. It is built to current day care standards, sunny, and cheerful! We have a separate play area for babies and nursing mommies, a comfortable reading and quiet play place, a play kitchen and a workshop, active play spaces, large tables for crafts or feeding the children, and an attached bathroom with a child sized potty. The children’s art work often decorates the windows and walls. It is a very nice place to play! We hope that you will join us!

Nursery service is available on Sunday mornings for worship an Sunday school for children from birth to five years. We also provide nursery for bells and choir practices, church meetings, bible studies, and social circle meetings. Children birth through 12 years are welcome during these times. In addition, we have these other services:

Donations needed:

• Facial Tissue,
• size 3 diapers,
• ;baby wipes,
• snacks (fish crackers, graham crackers, other crackers).
  
  Bring donations to the Nursery any Sunday or during the week, 8am to 4pm.

Little Shepherds Play Day:

This is a wonderful mothers (or fathers!) day out program. Each Friday during the school year from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. we keep an eye on your little one while you have a well deserved break! We play and sing, do special crafts, have a snack and story time, and feed the children their sack lunch. We can accept children ages 18 months to kindergarten. Please bring your child a lunch and whatever necessities labeled, and let us enjoy the kids while you enjoy some free-time! Maximum capacity 20 children. We ask a donation of $1 per hour for members, and $2 per hour for non-members. Call our church office at (719) 544-1917 for more information.

Date Night:

This is an opportunity for an evening out! This is a free service to members on the first Friday of each month from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. We will feed the children sack suppers (or you may feed them before they come), play (older children may play supervised in the gym while the younger ones play in the nursery), craft, snack, and then we will put them in their pajamas and settle them down before Mom & Dad pick them up! Children birth to 12 are welcome. We can only accept 15 children and reservations must be made in advance. Dates are: shown on the church calendar. Please note that we do not meet in December or the summer.

Shopping Day:

Let us keep the children while you finish your holiday shopping! On a Saturday, in December, from 9:00 to 1:00, we will entertain the kids with Christmas songs, crafts, snack, play, and lunch. Children birth to 12 years are welcome. Please pack the kids a sack lunch and enjoy this free service!
