Christian Education is a vital part of First United Methodist
Churches ministry in Pueblo. The Fall schedule for Children and
Adults is September - May at 9:45am, and the Summer schedule is Memorial
Day - Labor Day with Children's Sunday at 9:15am and Adult Sunday School
at 10:15am.
Children's Story Time |
The Education Department is providing bible Story Time in the
Library for all children following the Children's Time at the 11am
Worship Service. If any adult would like to lead a Story Time, please contact
Nancy Higbee. |
Confirmation class |
Pastor Rick will facilitate a group of students in a
spiritual and fun learning environment.
Confirmation is a six week course and
ends with a celebration.
Anyone
6th grade through 12th grade who haven't received their
confirmation sacrament may participate. Please contact the
church office

Gives money, time, and energy to many causes and occasionally
meets for social events. Several class members take turns
teaching the lesson and leading music. |
Informal Bible Study |
Study led by Pastor Rick includes reading of the scriptures with warm and lively discussion. |
Issues & Choices: |
Focuses on current events and the challenges of living the Christian
faith in daily life. Class members help choose the topics for
study and lead discussions. |
Searchers: |
Studies and discusses current issues in society and personal life. Class members take turns leading the lessons. Members also enjoy social activities together and a monthly fellowship breakfast. |
Praise Café |
![]() Enjoy a hot drink, donut and informal conversation. Proceeds
from coffee sales go to support a variety of church projects. |
Children's Church |
![]() Children's Church will be held in Booth Hall after the Children's Time during the 11:00 am Worship Service. This will be for children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade to provide an alternative to "sitting still" through an entire Worship Service. Activities such as stories and crafts will be done during this time. |
